STRATEGIC APPROACH TO UX DESIGN
Customized Design Sprint
Embracing a collaborative approach, I initiated a customized Design Sprint tailored to Finbox's unique needs. This intensive process allowed us to ideate, prototype, and validate design concepts swiftly, ensuring alignment with Finbox's vision and goals.
Jobs-to-be-Done Framework
Leveraging the Jobs-to-be-Done framework, I meticulously identified the key tasks and objectives of Finbox's users. This customer-centric approach informed every design decision, ensuring that the UX design was tailored to meet the specific needs and expectations of financial professionals engaging with the platform
High-Fidelity Prototyping
In collaboration with the team, I crafted a comprehensive high-fidelity prototype for Finbox's inaugural MVP. This crucial phase allowed us to visually represent the user interface, enabling early validation and feedback. The prototype served as a tangible preview of the MVP's design, fostering a deeper understanding of the user experience and paving the way for subsequent development phases.
IMPACT CREATED
Positive Stakeholder Feedback
The iterative design process and the resulting high-fidelity prototype garnered positive feedback from Finbox stakeholders. The visual representation of the MVP not only met but exceeded expectations, fostering confidence in the design direction and setting the stage for further development.
Client’s Impact
Upon implementation, the Finbox design positively impacted its client, IIFL, resulting in an 85% reduction in turnaround time, a 1.5x growth in approval rates, and a remarkable 95% reduction in error rates. The seamless UX/UI design contributed to IIFL's operational efficiency and improved decision-making processes, showcasing the real-world impact of the Finbox MVP.
CONCLUSION
As the sole UX designer responsible for crafting Finbox's MVP, the journey was not just about designing a user interface; it was about translating Finbox's vision into a user-friendly experience. The strategic use of solo design leadership, user-centric ideation, and iterative prototyping played a pivotal role in achieving impactful results for Finbox's financial decision-making platform.
